Bevan's Favorite

DESCRIPTION: medium apple with a red striped skin
IN SEASON: July

Bevan's Favorite originated in New Jersey before 1842. We aren't sure who Bevan is but we agree it's a good apple.

USES:good for cooking and eating fresh

Aunt Rachel apples originated in Chatham County, NC over one hundred years ago.

DESCRIPTION: Small, with a flat crown
TASTE: acidic and sweet
USES: a good keeper
